The Retreat

Sometimes the most memorable experiences are the most simple ones. Whilst we have a tendency to try to pack more into our already busy lives, sometimes we just need to let go and receive. It is in the quiet moments that we know so much more of who we are and what we need. 

​

This is an invitation into space and enjoying the simple things: beautiful and nutritious food, great sleep, quiet walks, spaces to think and journal, swimming and incredible views. This is an invitation for you to receive what you need and to find a rhythm of your day that allows you to simply relax.

There will also be a chance to book inclusive additional therapies and treatments:

Transformational therapy and coaching sessions.

Reiki.

Individual meditation instruction.

Sleep clinic.

Private embodiment sessions. 

Pranayama (breath) instruction.

Your Teacher and Host 

Kirsty Macdonald is a Transformational Coach and Therapist, Reiki healer and Hatha Yoga teacher, specialising in awakened and embodied leadership of self and of others. Formerly practicing at her clinic in Harley Street, London, Kirsty is an expert in stress anxiety and burnout and is the founder and Co-Director of the Inspired Life Centre. As well as teaching at the centre, Kirsty also continues her successful therapy and coaching practice in London, Spain and online.

Logistics

People ask what they need to bring with them on retreat in Spain. The most important thing is to bring yourself and a desire to enjoy this very special place.

​

We are very relaxed here and so please brings what you most feel comfortable in. Although it is completely optional, we encourage a switch off of your tech and letting go of all the usual pressures of life.  You might want to bring clothing suitable for occasionally slightly chilly mornings, and often hot afternoons and evenings, a water bottle, and light clothes that you can move in, swimwear to enjoy the pool, sun lotion, a hat, a journal and pens. We may offer mindful walks in the countryside or a walk to the top of our hill to enjoy the sunset, so bring shoes suitable for walking if you would like to join. 

 

The nearest airports are Granada (1hr) and Malaga (2 hours). Spain's international hub is Madrid. (4.5 hours), but you can also connect into most major European airports to arrive at either Granada or Malaga. Car hire is possible at all airports and we can also help  to arrange transport if you do not wish to hire a car whilst you are here.

• 3 nights in the beautiful surroundings of the Inspired Life Centre

• Optional classes, led walks, and morning meditation.

• Full use of the Centre's facilities including yoga shala, pool, yoga studio, meditation room, hammocks and relaxation areas.

• 3 nutritious and balancing vegetarian meals each day, herbal teas, and fruit snacks*

• Accommodation in a single or double room. Please note that we have ensuite and rooms with shared bathrooms, twins and doubles. • Bed linen and towels.

• Lots of silence, fresh air, inspiring countryside, self-reconnection and time to pause.

*Dinner only on arrival day, breakfast and lunch only on departure day.

Price and conditions

The price is per person in a twin or double room, including all teaching, full use of the facilities and three delicious meals each day.

Shared occupancy room with shared bathroom: £655 per person. (please let us know on booking if you would like to book a room for two people sharing or if you would like to be paired with another sharer of the same sex).

Single occupancy twin or double, shared bathroom (twin or double):  £810

Single occupancy, guaranteed double room, own bathroom: £995

 

There are fans in all rooms to keep you cool on warm days. We do not use air conditioning.

Although we would love to be a disabled accessible building this is not possible due to the layout of the building. It is likely that your room may have steps to access. 

It is recommended that you unplug from the rat race during your retreat but we do have wifi should you need it. We ask that you use it only in your room so as not to disturb others who wish to be tech-free.

We are an alcohol free centre.

Registration and payment

Your place is secured with a non-refundable £400 deposit with the remainder due up to 12 weeks before your retreat start, or you can pay in full now and receive a 5% discount on your booking.

​

Force majeure: Should the government put travel restrictions in place due (i.e. to a global pandemic) or if the unthinkable should happen that the Inspired Life Centre has to be closed, the full amount paid will be refunded minus any payment fees.
